Terms and Conditions

Purchase Orders
All purchase orders must show destination, requested shipment date, telephone number and all other necessary information. BergHOFF requires all order to be in writing; no verbal orders will be accepted. All purchase orders will be shipped immediately unless otherwise noted.

Terms
Standard terms of payment are net 30 days only after approved credit. A charge of 1.5% per month will be charged on overdue accounts in states where applicable in addition to any attorney fees, expenses and all court costs that BergHOFF may incur by reason of default.

New Accounts
New accounts must furnish three credit references with complete addresses, bank name and account numbers, copy of state resale certificate and complete name, address telephone number, fax number, e-mail and contact names. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover, if you require immediate shipment of your order.

Changes and Cancellations
Any changes or cancellations of purchase orders must be requested in writing and are subject to BergHOFF's prior approval.

Shortage or Damage Claims:
Of shortage or damage is detected, notify BergHOFF and the transportation company immediately. Claims, of any nature, must be made within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. BergHOFF's responsibility ceases upon acceptance of a shipment in good order by the transportation company. You must file the claim with the freight company.
Transportation companies assume all liability from the time a shipment is received by them until it is delivered to you. BergHOFF liability ceases at the time of shipment. Claims for missing cartons must be made with the driver or agent before receipt of goods is signed. Failure to make the required claim with the carrier within 3 days of delivery will result in forfeit of purchasers' right to such a claim.

Returns
Please contact BergHOFF directly for authorization to return merchandise. Merchandise returned without authorization will be refused. All returns must be prepaid. A restocking fee of 20% is made on all authorized returns for credit providing the items are received by BergHOFF in the condition they left the warehouse. If items are not returned in original condition they will be subject to additional charges. No credit will be issued if an item cannot be resold. The minimum restocking fee is $50.00.

Freight & Pricing
All prices are FOB Odessa, FL or Lancaster, California. All prices are subject to change without notice. Handling charges will still apply on orders shipped using a customers UPS/FEDEX account number.

Drop Shipping
Drop ship fees will be assessed to drop ship orders. Drop ship fees are as follows: orders under $100 = $3 per order; $101-$500 = $5 per order; $501 and up = $8 per order.
